About Anne
Anne began the practice of law during her education at University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. There, she worked as an intern in the Legal Affairs Unit of the California Department of Corrections. She subsequently worked for the Sacramento District Attorney's Office where she charged individuals for misdemeanor offenses.
Today, Anne's legal practice is focused in family law and criminal defense. She began her post- graduate career as a public defender in Everett, Washington where she developed strong trial skills at the outset of her career. She eventually transitioned into private practice with a small Lynnwood firm where she was allowed to continue to handle court appointed cases for low income clients in addition to her private case load. There, she was exposed to a variety of family law issues with a focus in child custody cases while maintaining her criminal defense skills.
Anne's first priority as your attorney is to get to know you on a personal level. In order to fully represent you, she needs to understand who you are and where you come from. Whether she's arguing your case in front of a jury or trying to negotiate a favorable resolution with opposing counsel it is imperative that she remind them that you are a human being with a unique set of circumstances.
Her past experience working in a prosecutor's office, and subsequently as a public defender, has given her the tools to anticipate the arguments you will be facing in court. She is well equipped to help you understand your options and make good, informed decisions.
During your initial interview, Anne will spend time listening to your story and then provide a general education on the law surrounding your issue. She will make sure that you understand what to expect in court and how you can best be prepared. Anne's promise to each client is that she will work diligently on your case and keep you informed every step of the way.
