About Anthony
Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, Anthony (Tony) G. Stergio has extensive experience in the defense of State and Federal employment discrimination claims, wage and hour compliance, noncompetition agreements and employment policy design and review.
Although Tony’s primary areas of practice are employment and commercial litigation, he has substantial experience handling commercial arbitration, computer service contract disputes and commercial litigation in State and Federal Courts. He also counsels clients regarding developments in various areas of State and Federal employment law. Tony frequently speaks at employment-related seminars.
Representative Experience in Private Practice:
- Successfully defended national origin and race discrimination case in Federal Court
- Obtained Summary Judgment in numerous age, sex and race discrimination cases in both Federal and State Courts
- Defended an FLSA action in Federal Court regarding employee/independent contractor issues and FLSA exemptions
