About Ara

Ara’s dedication and love for the law began at a young age. Ara recalls watching the People’s Court and Divorce Court with his Armenian immigrant grandmother, arguing the facts of certain cases and figuring out who deserves justice.

Ara’s goal has been to strive to diligently represent his clients, while aggressively preparing each case for trial, arbitration, or mediation. He specializes in the handling of personal injury cases, including automobile accidents, pedestrians, bicycles, and trip/slip and fall cases. Ara has vast experience dealing with the most catastrophic of injuries, including traumatic brain injuries, spine injuries, fractures, and other serious bodily injuries.

In his spare time, Ara enjoys going to the beach, playing golf, and hanging out with friends. As a long-time season ticket holder, Ara can also be found at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum from the months of September to December cheering for the USC Trojans football team.

B.R. v. Union Pacific, et al.

Traumatic brain injury of two minor children settled for $9,000,000 in total.

L.F. v. Drug & Rehab Facility in Orange County, CA.

Client sustained moderate traumatic brain injury along with fractures to his spine. Rehab facility heavily disputed and fought that they were at fault. We eventually got the facility to pay $1,000,000 to resolve the case.

A.R. v. Lyft

Client lost his life in a automobile crash against a negligent Lyft driver, case settled for $1,350,000 for two heirs.

Gomez v. Trucking Co.

Client lost her life in an automobile v. semi-truck case. Case settled for $4,900,000 for a case with 7 heirs.

Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.

We obtained a $1,000,000 policy limit settlement for a truck driver who was blind sided by a person driving an Enterprise rental vehicle. Our client sustained mild traumatic brain injury and was deemed permanently disabled by the Social Security Administration. The settlement generated enough money to make a huge difference in our client's life for decades to come.

How did you build a successful practice?

I built my practice by making it a goal to learn the law, understand how insurance companies and defense attorneys operate, and how to strategically fight against insurance companies to obtain the best results for my clients.

Someone who knows how to fight against insurance companies. Someone who has real world trial experience. Someone who can be compassionate but also aggressive for their client.

Knowledge of the changes of local laws is crucial. Laws change all the time and we as lawyers must always continue to educate ourselves to stay effective.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?

Getting a hard fought case resolved for our client for a fair amount. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing the look on our clients faces when they beat the insurance companies.

What are your other interests in addition to law?

I love sports, both playing and watching. I am interested in entertained my friends and family, and cooking for them. My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving because it gives me a chance to cook for my entire family.

Yes, I am involved in several charitable foundations that help children and those who are going through difficult times. I am also active in protected against animal abuse.
