Kirk Seaman, born in 1959, grew up in Baltimore City and attended Baltimore City Public Schools, including the Baltimore Polytechnic Institute. He earned an Associate of Arts Degree with Honors in Political Science from the Community College of Baltimore, followed by a degree in Jurisprudence with Honors from the University of Baltimore. He completed his legal studies at the University of Baltimore School of Law, graduating in 1985. Before pursuing his legal career, Kirk explored various creative avenues. He studied classical guitar at the Peabody Preparatory of Music and taught himself to play the drums. His passion for photography led him to launch a freelance commercial photography business, where he worked with clients such as McDonald's, Marriott Corporation, and March of Dimes, among others. He also served as a personal photographer for Roy Rogers and captured performances by artists such as Lou Rawls, Heart, and Hall & Oates. Kirk and his wife, Rose, have been married for nearly 40 years, raising two children and enjoying time with their grandchildren in Sparrows Point, Maryland. In 1989, Kirk opened his law practice, handling DUI accidents, underage DUI, and even drug DUI cases across Maryland. He was appointed Special Settlement Officer by the Circuit Court of Maryland for Carroll County in 1995, settling cases in accident, workers' compensation, and family law. Later, he expanded his practice to include mediation and arbitration. In 2022, Kirk sold his practice and took over the Workers' Compensation Department at Kirk Seaman, LLC, a Baltimore firm with a longstanding history, where he further grew the firmโs representation in DUI and DWI cases.
