About Barry
My name is Barry Zlotowicz. I am a personal injury lawyer in Glenview, Illinois. I handle personal injury cases throughout the State of Illinois from Mount Vernon to Zion.
I was first licensed in California in 1993, where I started out as an insurance defense lawyer – defending people who caused auto accidents. I didn’t care for it and found I was much better suited to working for people who were injured through no fault of their own. As such, I became a plaintiff’s lawyer and haven’t looked back since.
I obtained my law degree from Pepperdine Law School and got a Masters of Law from the University of San Diego School of Law. I’ve been licensed to practice law in Illinois since I moved here in the 1990’s.
The cases I work on range from automobile and motorcycle accidents to bicycle accidents, slip and falls and dog bite cases. I also work with several attorneys who practice business, divorce, DUI, criminal and real estate law. As such, if you need a referral to an excellent attorney in any of these areas, I can likely help.
I live in Glenview, Illinois where I enjoy hanging out with my three daughters. However, they spend more time with their friends than with me these days. As such, I spend most of my awake time working to represent my clients who have been harmed by the negligence of others.
My “Client Bill of Rights” is how I manage my practice. My clients come first. I build interpersonal relationships with my clients and maintain regular contact, often through simple techniques like texting back and forth. You will not always be passed on to a paralegal like other law firms do.
My primary other interests involve helping others. I’m dedicated to engaging in as much volunteer work as possible. I believe that this is why I am here – to help others. I am also a part-time personal trainer which I got into to improve my own health. I’m a big sports fan (primarily the Dallas Cowboys – sorry Bears fans), love playing fantasy football, working out, my daily Starbucks and discussing history and politics.
