Mr. Hutson is Board Certified as an Expert in Criminal Trial Law by The Florida Bar.  Established in 1982 by the Florida Supreme Court, board certification provides consumers with assurance in the selection of legal counsel. 

Certification is the highest level of recognition by The Florida Bar of the competency and experience of attorneys in the areas of law approved for certification by the Supreme Court of Florida.  There are currently 350 attorneys in Florida who are Board Certified in Criminal Trial Law, of which only 2 (including Mr. Hutson), practice criminal defense exclusively in Gainesville, Florida .

Mr. Hutson emphasizes careful preparation and continuous reevaluation of every matter to ensure all options are being fully explored and presented to the client.  He believes that creativity is an important quality in an attorney, but never more important than presenting the facts accurately and truthfully to others.
