About Bernard
Bernard Dorfman, of counsel to the firm, served with distinction for twenty-seven years as a Municipal Court Judge in various Pascack Valley communities, and during this time served as President of the Bergen County Municipal Court Judges Association and on the New Jersey Supreme Court Committee on Municipal Courts. He is a Hearing Officer in the Family Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Bergen County, and a Mediator in the Superior Court, Bergen County. He also served as councilman in Hillsdale and as Borough Attorney in Woodcliff Lake. Mr. Dorfman focuses his practice in real estate and has represented a number of land developers and lending institutions in New York and New Jersey. He is available for private mediation efforts. He is admitted to practice in the federal and state courts of New York, New Jersey and Massachusetts, as well as before the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the Bergen County Bar Association, the New Jersey Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Mr. Dorfman is a graduate of New York Law School and received his B.A. in Education from Montclair State University.
