About Brendan
Brendan G. Dillashaw was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina where he attended West Charlotte High School. Brendan earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in History at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2001. During his undergraduate studies, Brendan also attended a semester abroad at the University of St. Andrews in St. Andrews, Scotland. After completing his undergraduate studies, Brendan earned his J.D. at the University of South Carolina School of Law in Columbia, South Carolina in 2004. While attending law school, Brendan was a recipient of the Cali Award (Formerly the American Jurisprudence Award) for Trusts and Estates and was also an editorial staff member and Research Editor of the ABA Real Property, Probate and Trust Journal.
After graduation from law school, Brendan returned to Charlotte where he practiced general civil litigation and workers' compensation for two years with the law firm of Hedrick Gardner Kincheloe and Garofalo, LLP, prior to joining Wells Daisley Rabon, P.A., in the Fall of 2006.
Brendan received his license to practice law in North Carolina and the United States District Court, Western District of North Carolina in 2004. Brendan is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, the North Carolina Bar Association, and the Mecklenburg County Bar Association.
Brendan currently practices primarily in the areas of Real Estate and Estate Planning. His Real Estate Practice includes landlord-tenant relations, real estate finance and both commercial and residential transaction. Brendan's Estate Planning practice includes drafting wills, trusts, and basic estate tax planning.
Consistent with all of the Attorneys at Wells Daisley Rabon, Brendan takes pride in community involvement. Brendan currently serves on the Development Committee of the First Tee of Charlotte, which aims to empower the youth of Mecklenburg County ages 9-18 through a proven Life-Skills curriculum associated with the game of golf, is a member of the Second String Santa organization, which provides holiday gifts to underprivileged children in the Charlotte community, and, for over five years, Brendan has been a supporter of the Good Fellows Club, whose membership of 1,600 men in the greater Charlotte area seek to be of service to the less fortunate in our community by providing emergency assistance to families in need throughout the year. Brendan also serves on the Meineke Car Care Bowl Board of Advisors, whose members promote, organize and assist the City of Charlotte host the college football bowl game played annually in Charlotte between representative teams from the Atlantic Coast and Big East conferences.
