About Brent
Brent Nicholls graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with an honors degree in finance in 1990. He went on to receive his law degree from Rutgers University and an LLM (Master of Law) degree from N.Y.U. His three principal practice areas include 1. Taxation issues such as IRS collection appeals, offers-in-compromise, and corporate structuring 2. Intellectual Property matters relating to trademarks, copyrights, and domain names, as well as licensing, confidentiality & non-competition agreements 3. Employment issues primarily involving corporate and governmental cases. Before forming KasabyNicholls in 2006, Brent was General Council for infoUSA (now InfoGroup), a NASDAQ-listed company with over 2000 employees. He spent 10 years practicing law in Denver prior to returning to Omaha, principally with the noted law firm Fairfield and Woods.
