I have a long history of community involvement and service. At a young age, I started serving my community as a volunteer for the Colonie Youth Court, the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern NY and the Ronald McDonald House. As a college student, I started an online software and mobile applications company dedicated to helping charities effectively manage their fundraising efforts. For my work, I was named to the Albany Business Review's "Forty under 40" list in 2006 at the age of 21. From 2004 to 2006, I served on the Board of Trustees of Union College. Thereafter, I served the College as the National Young Alumni Chair from 2006 to 2010. I have and continue to contribute hundreds of hours (pro bono) to clients relating to issues, matters and cases involving domestic violence/domestic relations and unemployment insurance claims. Currently, I serve my community in the following capacities: as an Associate Member of the International Union of Police Associations, Inc.; as a member of the Lawyers' Coordinating Committee; as a volunteer Patrolman for the Schenectady County Auxiliary Police (Office of Emergency Management). I am also the Secretary for the unit.
