About Brian
Brian J. Wheelin received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in 2001 from Stonehill College. He graduated, magna cum laude, from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2004. While in law school, Mr. Wheelin served as Lead Articles Editor for the Quinnipiac Law Review and coordinated the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program, which provides tax assistance to low income families throughout Connecticut. Mr. Wheelin also received several law school awards, including the Anna Provorny Scholarship Award, awarded to the student who best exemplifies academic excellence and dedication to their community. In addition, Mr. Wheelin completed internships with the United States District Court in New York and the Department of Justice in Washington, D.C.
Prior to joining Hurwitz, Sagarin, Slossberg & Knuff, Mr. Wheelin counseled and represented management for a labor and employment firm in Stamford, Connecticut. Mr. Wheelin now focuses his practice on product liability, complex commercial, consumer class actions, and personal injury litigation.
Mr. Wheelin is admitted to the bars Connecticut and New York and the Federal District Court for the District of Connecticut. Mr. Wheelin’s professional affiliations include membership in the New Haven County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Young Lawyers Section of the Connecticut Bar Association. Mr. Wheelin is also actively involved in the Make a Wish Foundation of Connecticut.
