About Brian
I have been a practicing attorney in Louisville for nearly ten years. I am a transplant from a west Kentucky farm and a Louisvillian by choice. At fifteen I realized that I tended to break more equipment that was necessary and started looking for another life goal. I worked my way through undergrad and law school. I did everything from factory work to law clerking and learned important lessons from every job. The most important lesson I learned was that I liked working with, and helping, people. This understanding brought me to the law practice I have. I help people keep their financial life back on track through Bankruptcy representation. I help people through one of the most common and most uncomfortable legal proceedings in these times, divorce and other family law matters. My approach to criminal defense is one of understanding my client's needs and present the best possible defense for the best possible outcome.
Away from the office and the courts, I enjoy spending my time with my family. I am active in my daughters school and help coach some athletic teams there. I may not have the best win/loss record but we do have fun. I have found that keeping in touch with family and friends keeps me grounded and from becoming one of those attorneys who has forgotten what life is like outside the intense life of an active litigator.
I encourage you to please read more about my practice and what, if anything, I could do for you. I am proud of the fact that my approach to the practice of law is one that places my clients interests ahead of my own. Just like my great-grandfather taught me as a child; If I am going to do a job, no matter how big or how small, I will do that job in such a way that I can be proud of what I have accomplished.
