About Bruce

Bruce Dierking's practice focuses on complex commercial real estate transactions, including purchase and sale, leasing, finance, Section 1031 like-kind exchanges, land use approvals/entitlements and all aspects of real estate development.  He has been recognized in Colorado Super Lawyers, Best Lawyers in America and the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers.  Bruce is an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Colorado School of Law, teaching the Real Estate Planning Course, and he has also lectured at numerous continuing legal education courses on topics related to commercial real estate and development.  He serves as Chair of the Boulder Chamber of Commerce Community Affairs Council, is a past Chair of the Real Estate Law Section of the Boulder County Bar Association and a past Director of the Boulder Chamber of Commerce, Boulder Tomorrow and Thistle Community Housing.  A Colorado native and life-long Colorado resident, Bruce received his B.A. in English, summa cum laude, from the University of Northern Colorado, and his J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law, where he was an editor of the University of Colorado Law Review and selected for membership in the Order of the Coif.  Prior to attending law school, Bruce taught high school English and coached basketball in small towns in Northern Colorado.  Bruce is married with two teenage children.  Away from the office, he enjoys cycling, skiing, hiking, reading and spending time with his family.
