About Kimberley

As every family is unique, Kimberley recognizes there is no “one-size fits all” approach in family law. Kimberley Wilton was called to the bars of Ontario and Newfoundland and Labrador in 2013. Kimberley practices in a wide range of family law matters, from contentious custody and access disputes, child and spousal support claims, to complex property division, adoption applications, and mobility issues. Kimberley is also experienced in drafting parenting plans, separation agreements, and domestic contracts. Kimberley is sensitive to the specific needs of each client and rigorously advocates for her clients through co-operative negotiation, litigation, mediation, and arbitration. She is also a certified collaborative family law lawyer.

As a family law lawyer, Kimberley believes three of the most important elements to achieving successful outcomes for her clients are trust, communication, and mutual cooperation. Kimberley approaches her cases with an understanding and respect for the emotional and financial consequences of the issues her clients are facing.

Kimberley has gained vast experience in all areas of family law and she is equally experienced with settling matters through meditation, arbitration, negotiation and the collaborative process. Kimberley practices throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and regularly appears in all of the major courts in Toronto, and the GTA including North York, downtown Toronto, Newmarket, and Brampton.
