Mr. Kadish has been published in The Litigator, a publication of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association. His law firm, Kadish Law, also puts our updated articles on various litigation & legal practice related issues through the firm blog.
How did you build a successful practice?
After articling at what was one of the oldest law firms in the Country, Mr. Kadish began to focus on disability, employment law, and civil litigation as he continued on as a junior associate and eventually mid-level associate there. After that law firm moved across the province, he moved on to oversee all disability claims and many employment claims for another prominent law firm. Finally, in 2006, Kadish Law opened its doors and began representing individuals across Ontario.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?
It is vitally important that one feel confidence and have trust in their lawyer. Not only does the client-solicitor relationship need to be strong, but speak to your prospective lawyer about how their firm operates and how their fees work to ensure that it is the kind of firm that suits your needs. At Kadish Law we offer contingency fee retainers which allows our clients to pursue their full legal entitlements even if they do not have the funds to do so, only paying legal fees after a successful result.
What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?
During an initial free phone consultation, we will review some details of the case to see if we might be able to assist you. We don't want to bring you in for a consultation if we will simply have to turn you away once we review the case. Once we confirm that we are able to assist you, we will bring you in for an in-person free consultation to go through in more detail and explain your case, your rights and options, and how we might be able to help.
What information do you need in a free phone consultation?
During a free phone consultation we will ask some questions to see if we would be able to help you with your case. Usually any questions we might ask you would be simple for you to answer, as they relate to the issues you have been facing and some details regarding the claim. We would not require you to provide any documentation prior to the phone call.
What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?
Kadish Law is unique from many other firms in that we typically work on a contingency fee basis. This allows access-to-justice and the ability to pursue a case and your entitlements even if you do not presently have the funds to pursue a case yourself. If you have just lost your job, were denied disability benefits and lost your source of income, or for any other reason are unable to afford legal representation, a contingency fee retainer might be a good option in pursuing your case.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
One of the most rewarding aspects of the work we do at Kadish Law is that we help people in a time of need. We often receive word from former clients thanking us for our hard work, like this review we received most recently from a past client: ""Kadish Law, especially Noah, made my situation a lot easier to handle. Thank you for being kind, caring and supportive. It was a difficult and challenging time but you were with me every step of the way. You kept me informed throughout the process and took the time to explain the parts of the process I did not understand. Your professional advice was valuable and truly appreciated. Your timely response to any questions I had was very satisfying. Your commitment and dedication shows you sincerely have the client's best interest at heart. I would highly recommend Kadish Law to anyone looking for the best in the business""
