About Carl

Carl has had an eclectic legal practice starting out as the district attorney of a small northern Wisconsin county where he prosecuted three homicides in his first year of office. From that early experience, he has built a litigation practice involving subjects as varied as will contests to construction contract disputes. Most recently, he has been serving as the Sheboygan County Corporation Counsel pursuant to a unique contract that the firm has with the Sheboygan County Board.

It is our responsibility to provide you with the highest level of legal services, and to keep you fully informed about the progress of the matter we are handling on your behalf. As part of that responsibility, it is important we help you to understand the fees we charge for our services. Our fee arrangement depends upon the type of matter we are handling on your behalf. Generally, we bill on either an hourly basis or on a contingent fee arrangement, which means our fee is collected only if your case is successful. We will discuss fees for your particular case at your initial consultation. In addition, we will provide you with a written fee agreement that details the anticipated costs and fees for the type of matter we are handling. We will always be available to answer your questions concerning the fees associated with you case.
