About Carrie
Carrie and her husband later relocated to Pensacola to be near family where she joined her father in his Alabama law practice, assisting consumers in bankruptcy and defending against foreclosures and repossessions.
She later went back to work as a staff attorney for Legal Services of North Florida, Inc., where she was able to help indigent families and individuals navigate the legal system. She continued practicing mainly in consumer protection law and attended the National Consumer Law Center’s Consumer Rights Litigation Conference and Max Gardner’s renowned Bankruptcy Litigation Model Boot Camp.
In 2018, Carrie presented a seminar alongside colleagues entitled, “Using Community Lawyering to Promote Racial and Economic Justice,” at the American Bar Association’s Equal Justice Conference.
She was recently recognized for her work with domestic violence survivors by Naval Air Station Pensacola. Carrie currently serves on the Consumer Protection Committee of the Florida Bar and she serves on the board of directors of the Pensacola Boys and Girls Club.
After almost 14 years of practicing law, Carrie joined her husband at Cromey Law, P.A., to represent people in Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties. Her practice focuses on consumer protection and bankruptcy. She will gladly talk to you free of charge about your debts and what the best path forward is for you at this time in your life.
