About Catherine
A native of Ocala, Florida, Catherine C. Ackerman graduated <EM>cum laude</EM> from the University of Florida in 2005 with a B.S.B.A. in Marketing and a minor in French. After college, Catherine worked as an intern for Congressman Cliff Stearns in Washington D.C. before enrolling at Stetson University College of Law. While at Stetson, she participated in a student clinic with the City of St. Petersburg. She also worked as a summer associate with <B>SMITH TOOLE & WIGGINS, PL</B>, as well as interning with the Children's Legal Services branch of the Florida Office of the Attorney General in Tampa, Florida and clerking in the Legal Department at Raymond James Financial Services in St. Petersburg, Florida. Catherine joined the firm in January, 2009 after graduating from Stetson in December, 2008.
