He went on to earn his Masterโ€™s degree and Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law. Following law school, Mr. Boyd accepted a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Karen H. Abrams, former Administrative Judge for the Circuit Court of St. Maryโ€™s County. Following his clerkship, Mr. Boyd joined the St. Maryโ€™s County Stateโ€™s Attorneyโ€™s Office, eventually becoming the lead prosecutor for vehicular homicides. As a prosecutor, Mr. Boyd also served on the board of the St. Maryโ€™s County Adult Substance Abuse Recovery Court. Mr. Boyd is a member of the Maryland Bar Association (MSBA) and St. Maryโ€™s County Bar Association. Mr. Boyd resides, with his wife and children, in St, Maryโ€™s County.
