Charles E. Randau has concentrated his more than forty-two years in the practice of law representing corporations, companies, partnerships and professional individuals in the defense of liability and negligence claims. These cases tend to be large, multi-party, high exposure cases which require the assertive, but delicate touch of a senior litigator and are generally tried to a conclusion.

A trained mediator, arbitrator and skilled negotiator, Mr. Randau is a Mediator on the Oakland County Mediation Panel and an active member of the American Arbitration Association. He also is a member of the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel, the Association of Defense Trial Counsel, Michigan Insurance Lawyers Counsel and the Detroit and Oakland County Bar Associations, as well as the State Bar of Michigan. Mr. Randau has been a shareholder in the firm since 1988.

Mr. Randau received both his undergraduate and law degrees from Wayne State University, where he was a member of Alpha Kappa Psi, the national business fraternity, and Delta Theta Phi, the national professional law fraternity. He has been an instructor at Wayne State University Law School in legal research and writing and the Student Trial Advocacy Program since 1965. Mr. Randau has been a regular guest speaker at meetings of the American Association for Justice and the Michigan Trial Lawyers Association.
