About Charles
I was born, raised and grew up in Orange County, getting married and raising three children within the local community. I graduated from the University of California at Irvine with a degree in history in 1994 and went to Chapman University Law School; graduating from this institution in their inaugural class. Since being admitted to the bar our firm has been practicing mostly bankruptcy law amassing thousands of cases discharged for our clients. We practice out of Orange County but handle cases throughout Southern California and are always willing to accommodate our clients by flexible appointments, reasonable fees and direct communication.

Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.
I think saving a client's home is my most enjoyable memory. I have done this numerous times and I always feel good about it as so much of a person and their family can be tied to their home.
How did you build a successful practice?
You start with nothing so you have to understand your clients will be your most precious resource. If you serve them well they will tell others and this will help grow your business. The basis of any success I have had comes from the good will of my clients.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?
Honesty and integrity. The ability to put the client's interests before anybody else, including their attorney! Also the attorney must communicate with their client as often as the client needs.
How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?
Knowing the inner workings of the local community which includes courts is vital. This only comes with experience. Something we are proud to have earned in our 19 years of business.
What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?
A good phone consultation that we give will answer the most vital issues for our clients. For example in a bankruptcy consultation we will tell them if they are qualified for bk, how much it costs, how to safeguard their assets and how the process will unfold.
What information do you need in a free phone consultation?
Generally, most clients will know their information sufficiently so detailed documentation isn't necessary for the first talk, that will come later. Just be available to discuss your problems and I will guide you through it so we can help!
What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?
Our unbeatable fees and our ability to communicate promptly with our clients. I personally make sure each of my clients has all their concerns addressed. I listen to their story and make sure I know what they want.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
Actually helping other human beings in fundamental ways such as fixing their legal problems gives me enormous satisfaction.
What are your other interests in addition to law?
I have always been an avid reader and enjoy cross country running. Somewhat boring I expect but the time I save not playing golf gives me more availability to talk to my clients!
Are you involved in your community?
Since I'm married with 3 kids I find myself all over community events from local school activities to nearby charitable endeavors.
