About Chelsey
Chelsey L. Moore was born in Anderson, SC and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC. She then obtained her Juris Doctorate from the University of South Carolina, School of Law, in May, 2012. Although she was born and raised in the Upstate, she has family in Pawley’s Island and Georgetown which prompted her to move to the Coast after she was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in November, 2012.
During law school, Chelsey clerked for the Georgetown County Solicitor’s Office, assisting the Solicitors with a variety of criminal matters. Later, she worked closely with the South Carolina Department of Social Services as part of USC’s Children’s Advocacy Clinic, focusing on Termination of Parental Rights cases. While at USC, Chelsey was involved in Phi Delta Phi, Women in Law, and the Moot Court Bar, as part of which she competed in several internal competitions and the American Bar Association’s National Appellate Advocacy Competition. Chelsey joined Grand Strand Law Group, LLC in December, 2012 as an Associate Attorney. She focuses her practice on Family Law.

She recently moved to Myrtle Beach and is quickly becoming involved in the local community.
