About Cheryl
Cheryl Cook is an associate with the firm, having joined the firm in October 2003. She received a B.A. in English, with minor concentrations in Spanish and vocal performance, from Liberty University in 1988. She obtained her J.D. from Michigan State University/Detroit College of Law in August 1995, and has practiced in Michigan since 1996. Ms. Cook is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan, as well as the U.S. Supreme Court. Ms. Cook concentrates her practice on general civil litigation in state and federal courts, including banking and commercial litigation, creditors' rights, bankruptcy litigation, post-judgment collections, and appeals. In addition to the State Bar of Michigan, Ms. Cook is a member of the Macomb County Bar Association and the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan - Macomb Region, where she has served as the Treasurer since 2007.
