Chevelle D. Douglas, Esq. is a dynamic and versatile attorney with over ten years of cumulative expertise in Family Law. Since childhood, Ms. Douglas, has desired to pursue a career in the area of family law. It was at this time she witnessed her own parent’s divorce and was only acutely impacted because of their ability to “act in the best interest of the child”. She pushes her clients to do the same.
Ms. Douglas obtained her first internship at the age of 16, working for a high profile family law attorney in Los Angeles. She worked on cases involving entertainers, actors, and professional athletes. Throughout law school, Ms. Douglas interned with the Superior Court of Santa Clara, Family Law Division wherein she interned for seven family law judges and assisted pro se petitioner’s maneuver through the Family Law Court system. After law school she worked exclusively in the area of family law for various family law practitioner’s and firms where she was able to hoan her craft, specifically in the area of family law litigation. Ms. Douglas decided to open her own private practice because she recognized the need for passionate and efficient advocacy in difficult child custody matters.
