About Cheyenne
Cheyenne's primary areas of practice include general and complex litigation with a an emphasis on DUI criminal defense, driver's license administrative hearings, and appeals.
Cheyenne completed her undergraduate degree at Iowa State University. She graduated with Distinction in 2007. She majored in Philosophy. While attending ISU, Cheyenne was a scholarship member of the women's basketball team, hi addition to lettering every year, Cheyenne was Academic All-Conference all four years.
Cheyenne obtained her Juris Doctorate from the University of Iowa. Cheyenne graduated with distinction in 2000. While at Iowa, Cheyenne was the recipient of the University of Iowa Legal Opportunity Fellowship. She was also a research assistant and member of the University of Iowa Moot Court Board.
Prior to joining Epstein & Robbins, Cheyenne was an Assistant State Attorney in the Fourth Judicial Circuit for over six years. While at the State Attorney's Office, she handled a range of cases from misdemeanor to felony cases starting at arrest through jury trial. She served as lead counsel on jury trials ranging from misdemeanors to life felonies. She was lead counsel on high profile cases including State v. Johns featured on an elderly abuse documentary. She prosecuted with a special emphasis on sex crimes and physical abuse. In 2004 she assumed the position as the lead prosecutor of the Special Assault Unit in Clay County, Florida. In 2005 she returned to Duval County, Florida as a member of the nationally recognized Juvenile Crime Unit. From 2007-2009, Cheyenne was the Editor-in-Chief of the Jacksonville Bar Bulletin. Cheyenne presented at the 2008 Blood, Breath & Tears seminar sponsored by the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Cheyenne currently resides in Jacksonville, Florida with her dog Southpaw. She is the head middle school girls' basketball coach at Hendricks Day School and is active in youth sports in the community.
