Questions & Answers
Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.
Every week we make a big difference in our clients lives by providing meaningful, common sense representation with problem solving our clients issues as our primary concern. Whether it is through a court case, or pre suit negotiating, or smart transactional work, big differences are made.
How did you build a successful practice?
Responsiveness, hard work, word of mouth, Common sense solutions to problems.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?
Trust, communicable, knowledgeable, and the feeling that the lawyer actually cares about the client and the clients situation.
How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?
In many cases, knowing how the particular judges or clerks move their case load and their opinions on the law help guide the way a case is handled, so local knowledge is very important.
What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?
I try my best to look at the potential client's issue, their goals, and common sense to formulate a game plan tailored to best meet their needs. Then they can hire me, or try to do it on their own- if they do not hire me, they will probably walk away with very useful knowledge.
What information do you need in a free phone consultation?
If there is a case number already then I certainly need that. If there is any paperwork, then emailing them or faxing.
What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?
There are many great lawyers that I am honored to practice with and around. I drive my practice with a common sense approach rather than what makes the most dollars and sense approach.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
Thank you's and other modes of appreciation.
What are your other interests in addition to law?
I have two sons and a beautiful wife that I enjoy spending my time with when I am not working for my clients.
Are you involved in your community?
I am involved in the Trinity- Odessa Chamber of Commerce as well as BNI Leaders by design.
