About Chris

Chris DeAnda was raised in West Texas. After graduating from high school, he stayed in West Texas to attend Texas Tech University. After a few years, Chris joined the US Navy where he studied Nuclear Operations. During his military period, he became Cryptologic Technician. Chris was an expert in communication network defense and forensics while maintaining a TOP SECRET clearance.

After his military time, Chris went back to Texas Tech to earn his Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies. Chris received his law degree from Texas Tech School of Law while being very active in the community and raising a family.

Immediately after law school, Chris went to work for the Midland County District Attorney’s Office as a misdemeanor prosecutor. He advanced to felony prosecutor quickly and had many trials as a prosecutor. After working as a prosecutor, Chris made the choice to go into private practice to deal primarily with criminal defense and divorce.

Chris trusts that his clients deserve an attorney that will be honest with them. He understands that every matter cannot be handled the same. Chris DeAnda recognizes it is not always easy to know what to do, so he will help you navigate the judicial system.
