Christopher obtained a Juris Doctor with honors from the University of Maryland School of Law (1990), and prior to that a Bachelor of Arts cum laude from the State University of New York at Albany (1987 – Dean’s List of Distinguished Students). He is admitted to practice law to the U.S. District Court (Eastern District of New York), U.S. District Court (Southern District of New York) and New York State Bar (1991). He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Dutchess County Bar Association and Ulster County Bar Association.  In addition to having owned and operated private businesses, Christopher previously worked in law firms in New York City and upstate New York, where he obtained invaluable experience, knowledge and skill in many areas of law.
