About Courtney
COURTNEY K. GRIMM graduated magna cum laude from Sweet Briar College in 1989. In 1992 she received her J.D. with honors from the University of Florida College of Law where she was Executive Research Editor and then Editor-in-Chief of the Florida Journal of International Law. She is a member of The Florida Bar Trial Lawyers Section Executive Council. She has been a member of The Jacksonville Bar Board of Governors from 1998 to the present and is currently President Elect. She served on The Florida Bar Board of Governors, Young Lawyers Division, as President from 1998-1999 and was a board member from 1994-1998, and served on The Florida Bar Civil Procedure Rules Committee and The Florida Bar Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee. In 2009, she was named Woman Lawyer of the Year by the Jacksonville Women Lawyers Association. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and a past member of the Chester Bedell Inn of Court. Ms. Grimm's areas of concentration include commercial, construction and contract litigation, representing both plaintiffs and defendants.
