About Dale

Dale Eaton is a partner practicing in the areas of Litigation, Business and Family Law. Originally from Camden, Maine, Dale has resided in Wisconsin for the past fourteen years. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree, with honors, from Tufts University in Massachusetts. Dale subsequently graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School, where he was a Managing Editor of Wisconsin Law Review, and a judicial intern for the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Dale began his legal career in Massachusetts, where he worked as a litigation assistant for a Boston law firm handling substantial tort claims. After moving to Wisconsin, Dale clerked for a large Milwaukee law firm and for the University of Wisconsin System General Counsel. In 1993, Dale relocated to Wausau and was associated with a large Wausau law firm. He and Mary Prohaska established Eaton & Prohaska in 2000.  The firm is now known as Eaton, John, Overbey & Welles.  Dale is admitted to practice before the Wisconsin Supreme Court and the Federal Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin.
