About Daniel

Attorney Daniel Joseph was born on April 7, 1946. He graduated from Mt. Union College in 1968 and then graduated Cum Laude from the Duquesne University School of Law in 1972. Following law school he worked for three (3) years for Justice Louis L. Mandarino, on the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania as a judicial law clerk. Since that time, he has worked as an Assistant Public Defender, an Assistant District Attorney and has been engaged in the private practice of law.

Attorney Joseph is admitted to practice before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the United States Supreme Court. In 1995, he was named to Who's Who in American Law. Attorney Joseph has been voted Pennsylvania Super Lawyer since 2004 also is a member of the Westmoreland County Academy of Trial Lawyers and the American Inns of Court.

Attorney Joseph is a past President of the Westmoreland Bar Association and has served as Chairman of the Westmoreland Bar Association's Criminal Law Committee on numerous occasions. He is a past Chairperson of Pennsylvania Supreme Court Disciplinary Hearing Committee 4.13. Attorney Joseph is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. He served on the Pennsylvania Bar Association Board of Governors as the Governor of Zone 6. In May of 2004, he was elected to the Office of Secretary of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. He also serves on the Pennsylvania Bar Association's House of Delegates. Additionally, Attorney Joseph is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Civil Litigation Section, Criminal Law Section, and Workers' Compensation Section.
