About John
The Law Office of John H. Darrow was launched in 1991 after Mr. Darrow spent several years in practice as an associate. Mr. Darrow is now a solo-practitioner who enjoys having the flexibility of managing his own time, choosing the cases he takes, and determining the strategies necessary to best serve his clients.
Mr. Darrow’s Law Office is conveniently located to serve clients in Bellevue, Washington, as well as Issaquah, Sammamish, Redmond, the Eastside, and the rest of King County. In appropriate cases, he also represents clients in the nearby counties of Pierce, Snohomish and Kitsap.
John H. Darrow has devoted his life to helping the little person. Too often in our frenzied world of high finance, big business and big government, the little guy is forgotten. While the banks, large employers, insurance companies and various government entities have their stables of lawyers, the little person generally just hopes to avoid becoming involved in legal issues. He or she doesn’t have even one attorney, much less dozens of them.
Then along comes some legal crisis or problem, and the average person suddenly needs legal advice and representation. It may be as common as buying a house and needing someone to review the mountain of paperwork. It may be as difficult as trying to force a city to pay for damage it did to his property. Perhaps it’s as vital as a couple planning their estate, or trying to avoid a guardianship. It could be that the client is being laid off and needs an attorney to review the severance paperwork and advise him on his rights. Or it may be that she has been in an accident, and the Giant Insurance Company simply begins playing hardball.
Here’s where Mr. Darrow can help level the playing field. He has never been afraid to face up to the Goliaths of the world, and he has the ability and tools to do it. A large part of his practice consists of helping injured people obtain fair compensation for their injuries. He also spends much of his time helping people understand the maze of paperwork thrown at them by banks and title companies when buying a new home, or by employers when they’re laying off employees and they say, “Sign right here, please.”
A lot of his work focuses on helping people plan their estates, as well as preparing the vital documents that help loved ones assist them as they grow older, from durable and health care powers of attorney to living wills. And he helps small businesses prepare solid contracts that protect their interests.
If you would like to hire an Eastside attorney to represent your interests, you can contact Mr. Darrow by calling 425-369-2064.
John H. Darrow is a solo practitioner who has over 20 years’ experience in the practice of law. In addition to owning his own law firm, Mr. Darrow has a wife and two children. He is active in his church, organizes group activities and hosts gatherings for members and guests. John also has a humongous garden, and when he is able to find spare time, he enjoys backpacking and hiking in the mountains of Washington.
The pictures below show a couple of his favorite haunts, Snoqualmie Falls, and a spot near Summit Lake, by Mt. Rainier.
