My name is Dave Howard. I have been practicing law since 1993 and have practiced criminal defense exclusively since 2000. I recognize that most people who find themselves being charged with crimes are good people who just find themselves in trouble. These days it's possible to be arrested even when you haven't caused any harm to anyone. In fact, close to a majority of criminal cases have no victim, and no complaint is ever made to the police by anyone.
 
I am dedicated to helping people get out of trouble. I investigate the facts and law of each case in order to exploit every advantage possible in my clients' interests and I aggressively defend my clients. In the event that a client is guilty of a crime, I work diligently to keep the penalty as reasonable as possible. I understand that a criminal record can be very destructive of my clients' futures and strive to minimize any long-term negative effects.
