David B. Mintz began his bankruptcy experience in 1999 representing debtors. After turning to the dark side and representing creditors, he started his own firm as a solo practitioner in 2014 and returned to his roots representing debtors.
David graduated from the Washington College of Law - American University in 1995. He is admitted to practice law in Maryland, the District of Columbia and Virginia. He is also admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit, U.S. District Courts for Maryland, D.C. and the Eastern District of Virginia and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
Voluntary bar memberships include: the Maryland State Bar Association, including the Consumer Bankruptcy Section where he currently serves as a Council Member, and the Solo & Small Firm Practice Section; and the Bankruptcy Bar Association for the District of Maryland.
David has been married for 25 years and has four children. He is active in the PTA and is currently represents Barnsley Elementary School, Wood Middle School and Rockville High School as a Delegate to the Montgomery County Counsel of PTA’s (MCCPTA) and also serves on the Board of Directors of the MCCPTA as a Cluster Representative.
