Questions & Answers
Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.
Recovered workers' compensation benefits for dozens of clients when the insurance companies refused to pay.
How did you build a successful practice?
By handling each case personally and using my knowledge of the law to get the most for my clients.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?
A lawyer with experience and knowledge in that particular area of the law. A lawyer who will call you back promptly. A lawyer who will fight to get you everything you are entitled to.
How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?
Local knowledge in the area of workers' compensation law is very important. Different states have different laws and benefit systems. It is also critical to have an experienced attorney who is comfortable in court before judges and opposing counsel.
What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?
I answer any and all questions a prospective client may have. I also discuss potential pitfalls of that particular legal matter and I will give a broad overview of that area of law.
What information do you need in a free phone consultation?
In a free phone consultation I need all the pertinent facts surrounding the legal matter. That would include when it happened, where it happened, how it happened and all those involved.
What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?
I am different because of my vast experience in workers compensation cases and personal injury cases in RI and MA. I will take cases to court and try them in front of a judge or a jury. I handle each case personally and will fight for my clients until they receive an optimum result.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
The most rewarding aspect of my job is helping people when they have no where else to turn. Assisting a client recover workers compensation benefits, and thus helping them to resume their financial stability, is what I enjoy the most.
What are your other interests in addition to law?
I enjoy spending time with family and friends playing tennis, golf, biking and boating. I also enjoy traveling and helping the less fortunate.
