About David

David Anderson has focused his practice on Estate Planning and Administration, Business Law, and Tax.  David received his Juris Doctorate from North Carolina Central University School of Law in 2013.  During law school, David served as a Research Assistant and conducted research involving municipal zoning laws across the nation.

Prior to law school, David served more than nine years in local law enforcement in New Hanover County, obtaining Advanced Law Enforcement Certificate from the North Carolina Department of Justice Criminal Justice Education and Training Standards Commission.  David is also a certified Criminal Justice Instructor. David served eight years in the North Carolina Army National Guard, including a combat tour in Iraq in 2004 as a member of the Judge Advocate General’s Corp.

David is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association, the Estate Planning and Tax sections of the North Carolina Bar Association, the New Hanover County Estate Planning Council, and Wilmington Central Rotary. David is married to his wife, Beverly and has two daughters, Kate & Lily.  David and his family are members of the First Presbyterian Church in Wilmington, NC.
