About David
David L. Garrison joins the firm as Of Counsel. Mr. Garrison has worked in the Seattle area as an intellectual property attorney for more than 30 years. Prior to joining Merchant & Gould, Mr. Garrison worked in private practice. He specializes in domestic and international patent and trademark prosecution, litigation, client consultation, mediation, arbitration and licensing with an emphasis on The Russian Federation and the Commonwealth of the Independent States. He served as a member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Circuit Bar Association and is active in the FCBA and the American Intellectual Property Law Association. He edits the compilation of Eastern European intellectual property laws entitled "Intellectual Property in Eastern Europe and the CIS" published by Oceana Publishing. Mr. Garrison received his J.D. from George Washington University and has an undergraduate degree in chemical engineering from Oregon State University.
