David W. Hall, Jr., became Of Counsel to the firm in April 1997, following 22 years in practice with the law firms of Miller, Fairman, Sanford and Carr and Bussell, O'Neal and Hall. He became a partner with the firm Bussell, Hough, O'Neal, Crouch and Hall in 1982 and remained a partner until joining Neale & Newman, L.L.P. Mr. Hall grew up and went to school in Springfield, graduating from Glendale High School in 1968. He received his undergraduate degree with honors from Texas Christian University in 1972 and his Law/JD Degree from Southern Methodist University in 1975.

Mr. Hall is licensed to practice law in both Missouri and Texas. He is licensed to practice in all Missouri and Texas state courts, the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, the United States Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.

He is a member of the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association, Texas Bar, American Bar Association, Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers, Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, American Trial Lawyers Association, International Association of Defense Counsel and Defense Research Institute.

Mr. Hall's practice is primarily that of civil litigation with an emphasis in personal injury and insurance defense. His areas of trial practice over 27 years has included casualty, automobile, premises liability, product liability, medical malpractice, fire and arson defense, insurance law, workers' compensation, and commercial litigation. He represents numerous insurance companies in the Southwest Missouri area.
