Questions & Answers

Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.

David Lilenfeld, founder of Lilenfeld PC, had a case for a company sued for trademark infringement. The lawsuit attacked my Client's right to use its name, a name it had been using for more than fifteen years. It is a $50 million dollar business that depends on a high volume of small sales to thousands of different customers. Changing the name of its business would have greatly damaged the good will my Client had generated the last fifteen years, in addition to costing at least a hundred thousands dollars to fund a re-branding. David Lilenfeld walked the Client through the process and fought hard to fend of the attack. Ultimately, through hard-nosed litigation, we convinced the opposing party that my Client would prevail. The opposing party ended up dismissing the lawsuit and my Client was able to keep its name.
