About David
David’s areas of concentration are estate planning, estate administration, business entities, employee benefits, and taxation.
David is the Chairperson of the Probate and Estate Planning Section of the State Bar of Michigan, and a member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan and the Calhoun County Bar Association. He is also a member of the Employee Benefits, Taxation, and Probate and Estate Sections of the State Bar of Michigan and the Taxation and the Real Property, Trust, and Estate Planning Law sections of the American Bar Association. David is the former President of the Calhoun County Estate Planners Council and serves as a board member and legal counsel for various non-profit organizations.
He has lectured on estate planning, employee benefits, and corporation matters in addition to authoring articles titled, “New Regulations Give Guidance on Making Loans from Qualified Retirement Plans”(1990); and “Low Interest and Interest Free Loans” (present); and co-authoring “Who Should Control Investment of Retirement Plan Funds” (present).
David and his wife, Catherine, reside in Battle Creek.
