About David

David practices primarily in the areas of Municipal Law, Estate Planning, Probate and Real Estate. He also represents a number of corporations and small businesses including several charitable and religious organizations.

David is licensed to practice in all federal and state courts in the state of Oklahoma and before the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals in Denver, Colorado. His varied practice has also provided him with extensive experience before many state and federal regulatory agencies and quasi-judicial bodies.

After graduating from Kinta High School, David earned an Associate Degree from Eastern Oklahoma State College in Wilburton where he served as Student Government President. In 1980, David earned a Bachelors of Science in political science, history and geography with a teaching degree from Oklahoma State University. While at OSU, David became a member of the Delta Kappa Chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha, the national political science honor society.

He completed his Juris Doctorate at the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 1983, and became an associate with Huckaby, Fleming, and Frailey, which subsequently became Frailey, Chaffin, Cordell, Perryman and Sterkel. David remained with that firm until 2020 when he joined James and Tyler at Perryman & Perryman.

David has served as president of the Chickasha Kiwanis Club and the Grady County Bar Association and as a chairman and/or member of a number of local boards and committees. David and his wife Jo are members of the OSU Alumni Association and he serves as an elder in the church where he and his wife worship.  David and Jo have four children and twelve grandchildren.
