David Sapp started his practice in the early 1980s and served as partner for three Atlanta-based law firms until 2004. He joined Henry Green, David Johnson and Jerry Landers as Green, Johnson & Landers, LLP in 2005. Throughout his career, David focused his practice on professional negligence, product liability defense, personal injury, property damage and insurance coverage litigation.

For more than 20 years, he has served as lead counsel in litigation matters such as the following: 

Personal Injury: Defense of 21 toxic tort actions involving  claims for personal injury, cancer and property damage and five class actions involving over 5,000 potential class members 

Property Damage: Representation of plaintiffs in cases including asbestos contamination/fraud and leaking underground storage tanks as well as Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act cost recovery actions 

Medical Malpractice: Defense of 12 physicians, hospital authorities and home health providers 

Insurance Coverage: Representation of various clients seeking declaration of rights and obligations under commercial general liability insurance policies for environmentally related property damage 

Business Litigation: Representation of home health providers and numerous individuals involved in employment related disputes, including breach of non-solicitation/non-compete agreements

David graduated from the University of Georgia in 1980 and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. He graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1983. Upon graduation, he served as a law clerk for Judge Marvin Hartley and a staff law clerk for the United States District Court's Northern District of Georgia. He enjoys fishing, boating and spending time with his daughter, Carter.
