About Deborah
Ms. Sterkel is a partner with the firm who practices primarily in the areas of Healthcare Law, Real Estate Law, Corporate Law, Estate Planning and Probate. She also has extensive experience in Banking Law and Municipal Law and she represents a broad variety of corporations, limited partnerships, limited liability companies and sole-proprietorships in general business transactions.
Ms. Sterkel is licensed to practice in all federal and state courts in the state of Oklahoma. She also has experience in representing clients before state and federal regulatory agencies and quasi-judicial bodies.
Ms. Sterkel is an active member of the American Health Lawyers Association, the Oklahoma Bar Association and the Grady County Bar Association. Ms. Sterkel has served as President of the Grady County Bar Association.
Ms. Sterkel graduated summa cum laude from University of Science & Arts of Oklahoma with a Bachelors of Arts degree in history and a secondary education teaching certificate in 1981. She obtained a Juris Doctorate with Honors from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 1985. While attending law school Ms. Sterkel was a member of the Oklahoma Law Review and Order of the Coif.
