About Robert
Trust is Vital to a Good Result
Trust is vital to a good result, but I understand that this trust must be earned. At the DeCurtins Law Firm, in Charlotte, North Carolina, I earn my clients' trust through the development of a relationship. By listening and giving sound advice based on all available information and experience, I help build the trust necessary to provide the best possible legal representation.
Every criminal defense lawyer has a different style. My style involves working closely with my clients. Before we go before the judge, we can take the time to talk about your case so that you can be comfortable with what to expect.
Whether you have received a traffic ticket or been charged with a crime like DUI/DWI, I will encourage you to ask me questions and I will give you answers based on over 25 years of experience. I know what others in similar situations people facing similar criminal charges have experienced. I can help you anticipate what your judge may be concerned about and what consequences you may potentially face.
Avoiding Criminal Defense Surprises
One of the most difficult things about facing criminal charges is not knowing what to expect. At the DeCurtins Law Firm, I take pride in helping my clients avoid surprises. By the time we are standing before the judge, my clients have a very good idea what to expect including what kinds of results are typical and what the judge may ask about. For most people, knowing that you likely will not go to jail today is a tremendous weight lifted.
What Can I Expect?
People often have many questions about what to expect after criminal allegations are made. The answers vary in each situation, so talking with an attorney directly is the best way to get real answers that work for you. I can help answer any questions you may have about your criminal defense:
- What happens when you turn yourself in after a warrant is issued?
- What is the difference between a felony and a misdemeanor?
- What does setting a bond mean?
- What charges could lead to jail time?
- What happens during plea negotiations?
- What kinds of sentencing considerations does the judge take into account?
To get the answers you need, to talk with me about your criminal defense, contact the DeCurtins Law Firm by calling 704-315-2595 or toll-free at 866-421-1514 for a free initial consultation.
