My initial plan was to move back to Virginia following graduation but after living in the Carolinas for the past several years, I have grown to love the surrounding area and decided to open up my own practice here in Greensboro, North Carolina. Outside of practicing law, I have pursued and graduated with my Masters of Business Administration from Elon’s Martha and Spencer Love School of Business. To relax from the stress of practice and studying, I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the Greensboro Hopper’s Baseball games with friends, and working out at the local Crossfit boxes.

Kara Goodman is a dedicated, experienced, and compassionate family law attorney in Charlotte, North Carolina and the founder of The Goodman Law Firm, PLLC. As a child of parents who divorced before she was 10 years of age, Kara developed a passion for family law at an early age. With over 15 years of experience as a practicing attorney, Kara brings both legal skill and lived empathy to every case. In 2021, Kara left the big firm arena and founded The Goodman Law Firm where she continues to practice family law exclusively.
