John has been practicing law in Colorado since 1998. He is the founding member of Eckelberry Law Firm, established in 2006, in charge of the family law and bankruptcy practice for the firm. During his almost 20 years of practice, John has helped hundred of clients achieve personal and financial “fresh starts,” while developing short- and long-term life plans.

I grew up in a family of attorneys. My grandfather, Carlos Cadena, argued several times before the United States Supreme Court and my mother, Mary Elizabeth Galvan, is a prominent attorney in Laramie, Wyoming. After graduating from the University of Wyoming College of Law, I worked for a large downtown Denver family law firm, where I gained experience handling divorces and marital estates comprising millions of dollars in assets. I learned early on that Family law requires a special touch. I use a balanced approach, treading lightly tender emotions, but pressing aggressively when necessary. From experience, I know when to compromise and when to press forward in pursuit of my clients’ interests. Joseph Welsh is a dedicated member of Singleton Schreiber’s Environmental Litigation practice group, where he advocates for communities impacted by environmental harm. He is committed to seeking justice for those affected by toxic torts, environmental contamination, and pollution. With a background in environmental law, Joe has a passion for protecting the environment and has gained extensive experience in complex litigation, representing public water systems and community organizations in cases involving PFAS, fire-related toxins, and air and water pollution. Before joining Singleton Schreiber, Joe worked as an Environmental Justice Staff Attorney at Lone Star Legal Aid, where he played a pivotal role in challenging petrochemical environmental permit applications in environmental justice communities. His experience includes petitioning the EPA to object to an oil refinery’s Title V permit and drafting a notice of intent to sue the EPA for unreasonable delay under Clean Air Act citizen suit provisions on behalf of environmental justice community organizations. Earlier in his career, Joe served as a Deputy District Attorney with Colorado's Fourth Judicial District, handling over 1,000 cases and prosecuting thirty misdemeanor trials focused on child abuse, domestic violence, assault, DUI charges, and careless driving resulting in death. Joe earned his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law, where he concentrated on environmental and energy law and served as President of the Environmental Law Society. Joe recently earned an LL.M. in Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources Law from the University of Houston Law Center. In his spare time, Joe enjoys playing ice hockey, running, and reading. He is licensed to practice law in Colorado and Texas.

During law school, Mr. Chayet's grandmother, Letty Milstein, was the principle party in one of the most controversial and public elder law cases in the state of Colorado. The Estate of Milstein v. Ayers, 955 P.2d 78 (Colo. App. 1998), is a landmark probate case which upholds and protects the right to counsel and due process of incapacitated adults in Colorado and has been codified into the Colorado Uniform Protective Proceedings Act (the guardianship and conservatorship laws). This experience was the impetus for Mr. Chayet's career long practice commitment to the field of elder law and probate litigation. Mr. Chayet is the past Chairman of the Elder Law Section of the Colorado Bar Association and the recipient of Colorado Super Lawyers 2011 Rising Star in Elder Law. Mr. Chayet's expertise in the area of elder law has also been demonstrated through his publishing in the areas of elder law as well as many public speaking appearances throughout Colorado.Mr. Chayet is an active member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and a member of the Colorado Bar Association where fellow Colorado attorneys nominated Mr. Chayet to be a Fellow of the Colorado Bar Foundation. Mr. Chayet, born and raised in Denver, Colorado, is continuing in the footsteps of his family in assisting the philanthropic and civic community of Colorado, by serving on the board of many not-for-profit organizations including the Total Long Term Care Foundation, Guardianship Alliance of Colorado, Colorado Citizens for Accountability, Allied Jewish Apartments, Jewish Senior Recreation Network, the Foundation For Hope and the Life Source Services Hospice.

Wade has been an attorney since 1975 in the Denver, Colorado area. He graduated from Duke University with his bachelor’s degree, then moved to Denver in 1971 to attend Denver University’s Sturm College of Law. Upon graduation from law school, Wade immediately started his own firm and began helping individuals in need. Wade’s passion for helping people can be seen through his many years in the legal profession and also in his membership with the Bikers Against Child Abuse. He is currently a member of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, a graduate of the Colorado Trial Lawyers College, and the attorney for the Colorado Confederation of Clubs. Outside of work, Wade enjoys riding his motorcycle and attending community events.

Yohania is a litigator who focuses on high-stakes, complex environmental and civil litigation. Her practice spans state and federal courts nationwide and focuses on environmental contamination, toxic torts, climate accountability, and appellate advocacy.

Noelle Webster serves as an Associate Attorney at Singleton Schreiber, supporting the Fire Litigation and Personal Injury practice groups based in the Denver office. With a solid foundation in personal injury, mass tort, and medical malpractice litigation, Ms. Webster brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for advocating on behalf of plaintiffs. Ms. Webster's legal career began while she was still a law student at the University of San Diego School of Law. During her time there, she clerked for a prominent plaintiffs' firm, in San Diego, where she immersed herself in the complexities of medical malpractice and personal injury cases. Upon passing the California Bar in 2021, Ms. Webster joined the same leading firm she clerked at as an Associate Attorney, where she further honed her skills in litigating complex personal injury actions. Her experience includes drafting and managing critical legal documents, preparing for mediation and trial, and conducting expert depositions to secure favorable outcomes for her clients. Ms. Webster is admitted to practice in California and is an active member of the legal community, participating in organizations such as the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego, the San Diego County Bar Association, and the Lawyer's Club of San Diego. A native of Portland, Oregon, Ms. Webster now resides in Denver, Colorado, with her husband, son, and two dogs. Outside of her legal practice, she enjoys hiking, yoga, and exploring the outdoors with her family.

Erika Gebhardt practices exclusively family law and estate planning. Erika began her career in family law when she worked as an extern at the firm during the summer after her first year of law school (2010). After realizing her passion for this area, Erika continued by serving at the firm as a law clerk in the summer following her second year of law school (2011). Erika has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Political Economy from Colorado College, Colorado Springs, and was a 2012 graduate of the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where she was a member of the Order of St. Ives. Erika has worked as a judicial intern in a courtroom with a domestic and civil docket. She also interned for Denver District Court Judge Robert McGahey, Jr., of the Second Judicial District, where she was able to gain valuable experience in motions practice and courtroom procedure. After graduating from law school, Erika worked at a local law firm practicing family law. Licensed to practice in the State of Colorado, Erika is a member of the Colorado Bar Association and the CBA Young Lawyers Division. Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Erika moved to Colorado in 2005. Erika enjoys volunteering and supporting her community through Metro Volunteer Lawyers and local events.

Robert Saunooke is a citizen of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians and has been practicing law for over 35 years. Over his career, Robert’s practice has focused on representing Native American tribes, their members and litigating Native American issues. He has served as legislative counsel for the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians; Policy Advisor for the Chairman of the Seminole Tribe of Florida, and outside counsel to tribes across the Country.
