About Desiree
Desiree T. Washington is the owner of Washington Law Firm. She obtained a B.A. from the University of Chicago, where she majored in Medieval and Early Modern History. Thereafter, Desiree Washington attended the University of Iowa, College of Law, where she obtained a J.D. emphasizing jurisprudence and civil rights law. Desiree Washington is licensed to practice before the highest courts in the United States, California, and the District of Columbia. She is a former research assistant to Professor Kenneth C. Kress, professor of jurisprudence and tort law, and a former prosecutor for the State Bar of California. For a number of years, Desiree Washington worked as a litigator representing high-profile clients including, but not limited to, Lloyds of London, CNA, Genentech, National Lampoon, Nokia, and Netflix. In addition to litigation, she works extensively as a business transactions attorney, having represented high-profile clients including National Lampoon, NGTV, and independent film, television, and music companies and artists in business formation as well as drafting, negotiating, and financing deals.
