About Diana

The Law Office of Diana E. Buss is dedicated to providing excellent representation you need to defend against criminal charges. At my office, I treat every client as an individual, not another legal fee. Most of my clients come from referrals from satisfied clients. I pride myself on my reputation in the legal community and among judges as a trustworthy and effective lawyer.

Diana E. Buss was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and as a daughter of a U.S. Air Force Lieutenant Colonel, she moved around the country and the world a lot as a child. She settled in Dallas, Texas where she graduated high school and shortly thereafter, moved to San Marcos, Texas to attend college at Texas State University. While at Texas State, Ms. Buss was on the Dean's List and was awarded her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. Ms. Buss continued her graduate studies at Texas State University receiving her Master of Arts degree in Legal Studies and a paralegal certificate. For two years, she worked as a litigation paralegal for a prestigious law firm in Austin, Texas before taking the leap to law school.

Ms. Buss earned her law degree from the University of Tulsa College of Law in Tulsa, Oklahoma. While in law school, Ms. Buss excelled in her classes earning several CALI Awards for Excellence and graduating in the top third of her class. Upon graduating law school, Ms. Buss moved back to Austin, Texas to practice law. Ms. Buss gained valuable litigation experience working for two well-known law firms in the Austin and San Marcos area. She practiced primarily in the areas of criminal and family law for several years before opening her own law office.

Ms. Buss takes the defense of her clients very seriously and will work tirelessly to defend your case. She uses every effort to explore getting charges dismissed. If a dismissal cannot be obtained, she endeavors to position her clients in the best possible light for the prosecution and members of the jury.

Ms. Buss is active in her community and is a member of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, Austin Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, Austin Young Lawyers Association, Texas Young Lawyers Association, State Bar of Texas, American Bar Association, Austin Bar Association, Hays County Bar Association, and Williamson County Bar Association.
