About Donald
Donald E. Brown was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. He attendedlocal schools, and received his undergraduate degree from the University ofFlorida. He received his law degree from Stetson University College of Law in1981.
From 1981 to 1986, Don worked in the State Attorney's Office in theEighteenth Judicial Circuit (Brevard and Seminole Counties) as a prosecutor.During his tenure with the State Attorney's Office, Don prosecuted cases rangingfrom murder, capital child sexual abuse, DUI manslaughter and drug trafficking.
Don joined the Zisser law firm in 1986. He practices in the area of familylaw, criminal defense, personal injury and real estate litigation. Presently Donrepresents two of the largest homebuilders in northeast Florida, handling onlytheir litigation problems. Don has developed a reputation in Jacksonville as anexcellent litigator and he has seen his client base expand year after year,primarily as a result of his clients referring friends and family members to himfor legal assistance.
Although the time demands on his practice are significant, he is able tospend quality time with his wife and two daughters. This firm has always prideditself on recognizing that our members' commitments to their family is just asimportant as our commitment to our clients.
