About Donna
Donna Hart is a member of the Family Law Section of Herring, Mills & Kratt. She represents clients in a variety of family law matters and adoptions.
Donna grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, and earned her B.A. in criminology/sociology from Ohio University. Upon graduating from college, Donna spent a year working with troubled teenage girls, and then pursued a law degree at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. After graduating from law school, Donna moved to Florida, where she handled complex litigation matters for three years at a boutique law firm in Winter Park, Florida. In early 2006, Donna joined her husband in his family law practice, and has been practicing in this area ever since.
At the end of 2008, Donna and her husband Jim, along with their many dogs and cats, moved to Raleigh to take advantage of the outstanding quality of life in this area. Since relocating, Donna spends her free time enjoying all of the outdoor activities the Triangle has to offer, and volunteering with Wake County Animal Care, Control & Adoption Center, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, and the Wake County Guardian ad Litem Program.
